Damn And Blast…!!!

I popped in at the tattoo place last night after work to talk to them about my design- and they wanna charge me 2K (about $200- for a big detailed piece) for my new tattoo bunnies!!!

And whilst I fully get that, I really do, since it’s a very detailed design- I just don’t have that kind of money!!! So it will prolly mean I’m going to have to do it in stages… I will still be going next Friday to start on it- I cannot resist “the itch” much longer, but I’ll have to wait before I can have the whole design. And believe me when I tell you- if I had the money, I would SO go and do it immediately!!!

And it means my next dragon (remember #5?) is going to cost me at least twice that… ouch…

Anyone wanna make a donation nudge nudge wink wink

  1. dam!
i hate that art is so spendy. i wish i made $150/hr! that’s how much my tribal butterfly on my ankle cost. stupid expensive addictions!

  2. WTF? Daaaaaaaaaamn girl that’s some big bucks!

You could always start out just having bunny tails tatooed on.

That’d be what they call nipping it in the butt…or is that bud? Whichever,I think you get my point.

  3. katy katy katy: sad innit…

simply curious: this one ought to be only 2.5 hours or so… my dragon for #5 is going to be HECTIC!

yellowdog granny: they are expensive here- its equivalent to about $200 for a really big one with lots of detail…

s.s.n.: you either love them or you hate them- and they are so addictive…

    liz: what is it!!?!

jenty: does sound a little odd doesn’t it…?

  4. Holy canoli!! That’s exhorbitant! Just for a bit of ink and a new needle? Insane, and then you want the pain too? LOL! Rather you than me!

  5. yeah…I’ve got “the itch”, too, but it’s for something much different…

    Start saving your pennies!!!

  6. in 1976 I got an 8-ball tattoed on my left titty…cost me $8..In 1992 I got a Dallas Cowboy helmet done and cost me $50….I can’t imagine paying 2k for a tattoo…wow…your on your own sweety..

  7. Holy shit. That’s a lot…A lot of people get things done in stages. Not only because of price, but because of the pain factor. I saw this one girl, getting one while I was getting mine done, a full back piece, and it was being done in stages. I’m sure I’ll want to add to my clovers in time…don’t resist the itch. It only gets worse. 😛

  8. yeah I understand that just to well which is why Grumpy and I haven’t gotten ours since its expensive x2
