The Restless Housewife Thinks I’m Bored!!!

Mwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…

Kidding.

She’s tagged me- and says she’s still learning what tags and memes are all about, so in honour of Restless Housewife’s first tagging- here goes!!

5 Classes They Should Have Taught In School

1. The Art Of Letting “Friends” Go

Tips on how to handle it when a friendship becomes poisonous and how to end it without driving yourself to drink with guilt

2. Giving 100% At Work

You don’t have to become a doormat, screw your boss, work 14 hour days or take work home with you or feel guilty about changing jobs

3. The Truth About Democracy

How voting works, what happens when you vote, what effect NOT voting will have on the outcome and how pointless it is to whine about the state of the nation if you don’t vote

4. How To Say Yes And How To Say No

You need not always say “no” when offered something because you think its polite, and you need not always say “yes” because you don’t want to hurt someone’s feelings

5. You Don’t Have To Like Someone In Order To Be Polite

This can benefit every single relationship you have in your life, and simply being polite can REALLY take you places!

feel free to play along if you’d like…

  1. If i may add two more to the list:

Learn the difference between an asset and a liability, then embrace this buy buying assets and ridding yourself of liabilities.

Learn to read the newspapers. This helps maintain fairly intelligent conversation and allows you to have an opinion, making you seem smarter to others. and seeming smarter has its benefits!

  2. This is a great list. I love it. I have to agree with all of them. Especially 3 & 5.

  3. glugster: baby! how could you even think that!!?!

bridget: a few people are, most of us have to learn the hard way…

    nick: lolololololol

    southern sage: ta dude!

kingcover: i do hope you read to the end…

justin: definitely… but wouold anyone listen?

  4. I agree with everything you’ve written, Angel … a brilliant post. A whole term or year looking at relationships in general, would have been most helpful … including some assertion training.

  5. I had to chuckle at this – “You don’t have to become a doormat, screw your boss” ….. does that mean that I have to screw my boss??? Not in this lifetime thank you very much! 😛

  6. But…everything I really needed to know I learned in kindergarten.

  7. Geez. I sure hope your not screwing your boss……I’ll have to kill him then……LOL
