Thirty Days of Blog, Day Seven

Someone who has made your life worth living.

number7Well, I’ve never felt life wasn’t worth living, but I have certainly been given motivation to keep plodding onwards! Apart from my parents and siblings, there have been some truly remarkable people strolling on and off my life’s stage.

My darling knucklehead of course…

When I found out I was pregnant, I was both terrified and thrilled! I can’t explain all the things you feel when a pregnancy test comes up positive to someone who has not been through it. My life changed direction completely. When he was born it changed again. When he started school it changed again, and when he was diagnosed with ADHD it changed yet again. Each time I changed direction, or focus, it was for mine and my son’s benefit. It was for us. He was the centre of my world.

And then when my son was almost grown, I met my soul mate.

I met the man who makes me laugh. I met the man who can make me smile simply by seeing his name on my phone screen. I met the man who makes me melt when he puts his arms around me. I met the man who asked me to be his wife and promised to love me forever.

What more could I ask for!?

I’m doing a 30 Days Of Blog Challenge
