~~Would You Change Anything About Yourself Physically?
If So, What And Why?~~
Apart from losing weight – which is completely doable if I just put my mind to it – I REALLY wish I had beautiful white teeth.
I’ve said it before on this here blog, so this isn’t a new thing. I’ve never had white teeth. Not even as a child. My love of Coke and coffee, and many years of smoking and using asthma inhalers certainly hasn’t helped though…
Unfortunately, a relatively affordable bleaching is not an option. My teeth are already ridiculously sensitive and using a bleach will weaken them further and make it even worse.
I could cap them, but there again they have to file away the already thin enamel to give the caps a rough surface to adhere to.
My only real option is crowns. But at R3K per tooth this is WAAAAY out of my budget! And as its cosmetic dentistry, its not covered by my medical aid at all.
So for now its a pipe dream.
~~Which Five Twitter Friends Would I Really Like To Meet~~
I had to giggle at today’s topic because I have been exceptionally lucky in getting to meet so very many of my South African Twitter friends!
A list of five was far too fargin short… so I made it ten. I’ve been on Twitter too long to only want to meet five of them!
In no specific order, here’s my list:
The queen of rock herself, the one and only P!nk!!
The coolest chick on radio – Catherine Grenfell!!
Someone I swear is so much like me, I think the universe may actually collapse in on itself were we to meet face-to-face, cupcakemummy™!!
The coolest redhead on Twitter, A Daft Scots Lass!!
The always gloriously, fabulous Sharon Osbourne!!
My favourite wish-he-was-driving-a-Ferrari F1 driver, Mark Webber!!
My sister-on-another-continent, Gin!!
Pastry chef extraordinaire, long time blog friend and now Twitter contact too, jin!!
New mom, also a long time blog friend and now Twitter friend, Katy S.!!
And last but not least, long time blog friend and now Twitter friend too, Justa Girl!
~~Your Dream Wedding~~
My dream wedding already happened!
On Saturday, July 24th 2010, with a hundred or so of our closest friends and family!
My darling Glugster and I had the kind of wedding I never thought I would be able to have.
I had a dream dress, custom made by my favourite couturier.
We had a photo booth to entertain our guests with, which resulted in a truly, amazingly special guest book.
We had the best photographers, beautiful decor, a fabulous DJ, and incredible food.
And in order to share our wedding with all the people we had met using blogging and other forms of social media, we streamed it live on the internet!
~~Favourite 5 Blogs~~
Only five…? But I have so very many blogs in my reader!

~~Pay It Forward Today~~
I started today’s topic by trying to think of a way I could “pay it forward” today, and the more I thought about it the more I came to the conclusion that my work with the SA Guide-dogs Association for the Blind is my way of doing just that.
Not only did I and my family raise and train Volt– who is now in guide-dog training and due to graduate in April- we plan to take on another puppy in about April of this year and start the whole process over again.
In addition, we go along to shows and expos and help SAGA sell raffle tickets and raise funds for this very worthy organisation, and I help them out on the social media front, keeping their Twitter and Facebook profiles up to date!
